The No-knowledge picture

Avec mon amour

So, here's where the journey of Instagramming began for me. This apparently happens to be the first picture-post I made. This is what I meant by no-knowledge! Lol. I did not hashtag anything, or caption anything. It seemed more like leaving it to people to make their own connotations from my picture :P

Well now that I am getting to write about it, this picture as far as my head can retrieve memory, was clicked about a year ago. A year and a half actually. I was in Mumbai, India then, studying. As the famous-self-explanatory glasses suggest they are housed at Starbucks, well....I was at Starbucks; with my better half. I remember making a plan of visiting Starbucks with him, as I am a hearty fan and avid lover of the banner. The green lady just puts me to a state of ecstasy; and to be honest, at this stage, I don't quite know what is it about the banner that actually drives the magnetic-attraction within me; whether honestly the coffee, the name, that lady, the ambience, the very notion of starbucks-starbucks, or the commonness it now holds in my life, now that I am in the UK. Ummm, I guess the caffeine in the coffee :P (If its ecstasy that we're talking of here :P)

So this particular joint of Starbucks, happened to be located inside of a mall, in Mumbai. It was noon time and we definitely wanted to see eachother that day too, but just like any other day, we were frozen with our thoughts about what to do that particular noon. Now just for the record, it so happens that I am a person who loves making any usual typical day, into an unusual, memorable and adventure/memory filled day. (Guess its the caffeine that makes me so hyperactive all the time! :P); and my boyfriend happens to be a person of contrasting interests. Not to say he is a dull and boring personality! The guy has a charm of his own, (not saying this because its a girlfriend ground rule or anything! but genuinely) So that makes a bottleneck situation in our lives at times. AT TIMES, only! We can't decide on one fine place or one particular activity, that would hold both our interests!
So since we had never been to a Starbucks in India before, we thought why not? All geared up, we drove ourselves to Starbucks that afternoon. Having made mention of the fact this was located inside a mall, we boiled down to taking a casual tour (casual I have to mention, because otherwise for me tour in a mall always has to do with SHOPPING!! *shiny-starry-eyes* :D)
We roamed our asses around till we got bored of walking like tourists in a mall, and finally decided to do what we were there for! Go to STARBUCKS!! There it stood, right next to 'The Body Shop'. As I walked past 'The Body Shop' with my eyes showing me lingering visuals of heavenly-frangranced body butters and other heavenly body products, we pushed our way into the Starbucks door.(Well my Mr. Gentleman did, for me) and there we were, surrounded by the aroma of freshly ground coffee, caramel, and sweetness(from sugar...duhh) and spice(from cinnamon), all teasing our sensory nerves. (Well, mine atleast! I never bothered to ask my boyfriend if coffee aroma has tickled his sensory nerves :P....EVER)
Not sounding shocked at all here, the place was buzzing with people. But people who seemed a bit elite, for the usual Mumbai mall crowds. (well, it was Starbucks effect afterall!) We also managed to spot a small group of French girls, having occupied one of the tables. They looked as comfortable as if cuddled in the couches of their own home! Lol (Again....its the Starbucks effect! :P) Managing our way through the insanely running-around waiters, frantically scribbling orders into their notepads, and serving trays of delicious looking cream-filled stylish glasses, we headed to the counter. Now comes the tough phase of life where one needs to essence down to a single something order, from the vast library of sinful pleasures! Believe me, I've been to Starbucks sooo many times so far, and even had, before that day, yet deciding on coffee is something I can never do! I mean for a coffee-lover/addict :P like me, what coffee could I possibly not like? and what reason would I ever give myself to convince me enough suggesting 'no, not that one'?? Well, similar was the case with my boyfriend! Not that he's a coffee-addict AT ALL! But similar, to suggest that he had a dreadfully confused face too! :P That poor little face, made me take the reigns(lol) and make a little suggestion, "Ummm, take anything with Hazelnut...because I love it" I said to him :P
He immediately obeyed like a faithful monk, and declared a loud and proud order :P "Two hazelnut frappuccinos...one with cream and another without".The man behind the counter took our payment(boyfriend's payment :P), and asked us to take our seats.
We sat there, clicking pictures (only he took mine :P) and chatting away, as we waited for our Starbucks. After a matter of few minutes, it was there. Again, the crazy picture-girl that I am, my fingers went click click click before I even sipped my Starbuck. This is where this very picture took birth!
The coffee was amazing! Hazelnut always makes the best pair with coffee for me, and thus without a question, it showed its wonders! My boyfriend, unlike other usual times we eat out, did not crib or comment(negatively) about the coffee :P He seemed to have enjoyed the drink too. It wasn't too long before we drained down all that caffeine into our systems.

So there we go...one amazing experience behind one glass of Starbuck. (two, technically!)

If I'd have to rate this particular joint, this is how I'd rate it:

Quality of product: *****
